Dr.s Appoitment

Hi There,
I went to the oncologist Wed. after having the PICC line cleaned. They are so nice at the place where I go and have it all decorated for Christmas. They even had a little Santa that sang and moved his hips. It made us laugh it was so funny. My mom went with me since Fred had to go to his own doctors appointment for his back and hip. What a blessing for my mom to take me since she was able to just drop me off to go inside rather than me parking and then walking. She loved the extra exercise. LOL It was also so cold yesterday.
After the PICC line cleaning I went to see the Dr. She set me up for the 31st. to have chemo and then a CT scan on the 12 of January. My sodium level was at 133 so it went up 2 points in a week. The goal is 135. She was very glad to see all the electrolytes up at a normal range. I didn't get the results from the white blood count but she gave me a Nupergen shot anyway which is suppose to boost your blood counts.

When I got home from the Dr.s, Fred and I watched our grand kids age 4 and 9 months. We made cookies and Ceci and Jordyn made a gingerbread house. The baby even went down for a nap. Then at 2:30 only 3 hours after they were here their dad came and picked them up. The time went by so fast and we really enjoyed having them.
We have some decisions to make about our insurance which means changing out of Kaiser. So we are praying for wisdom and finances for the change. We thought we were going to stay with Kaiser and it would have been affordable but found out they gave us a wrong price. The correct price was almost double!
Please pray for us to have wisdom in making this decision and always for complete healing.
I appreciate all your prayers and letters and texts and emails. Its always good to know that others are out there even when I not there and that your thinking and caring for me and my family.
I ran into Bernie Gleason at the dentist today and the first thing she said is " I prayed for you this morning" You just don't know how that makes me feel to hear that and I haven't seen her in a long time.
Your all a blessing to me.
Love you all.
Cathy
