Super Tuesday!!

Hi Everyone,
I received a call from the Dr. Rosens staff that all my blood work and urine and heart test all look good so I will start the clinical trial on Tuesday. I am so excited to start and we are just praising our God for allowing me to be so close to home and be in this clinical trial.
Fred and I will go down on Monday night and stay in the Best Western across the street from the oncoligist. Which should be better than staying at a hospital. The study pays for the hotel.
I have to be at his office at 7:30 Tues morning and theywill give me a control breakfast and 30 min. later they will give me either the treatment in pill form or liquid form. They will draw blood every 2 hours from the port in my chest. In between blood draw we can go to our hotel and hang out. We will have our lap top computer with us and a phone in our room. They will draw blood for 12 hours after the treatment.
Wednesday morning I just have to check in at 8:00 and have blood drawn and have the rest of the day off.
Thursday the same and Friday the same. After the blood draw we can go home.
We then go back the next week and do the same thing but with either the pill or liquid which ever I didn't get the week before. Then the 3rd week I will receive the pill for 7 days but will come home and take it and have blood drawn at my local oncoligist and the 4th week I will receive just liquid for the week and do the same blood draw at my local oncoloigist.
Its sounds confusing but once it gets started it will just flow.
We are going to pretend we are on vacation and eat out and let the maids clean. Hopefully the weather will be warm enough to go down to the pier and walk around or just sit and read a book or take a nap.
The office is at 20th and Santa monica blvd. so it close to the beach and you can see the ocean from the 6th floor where the treatment room is.
Keep praying for our physical, emotional and spiritual strength. God has been so good to be right there for us. We just have to reach out and receive it and keep trusting in Him.
Mario gave me a cd and one of the songs the words are
God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to his side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way
He will make a way!
You may recognise the song and it really speaks to me where I am at and thankful that Mario gave me this CD.
Music has a way of speaking to my spirit and refreshing it.
Thank you for all your prayers and messages and email. I love hearing from you.
May the Lord bless you for all you do for others!!
Love,
Cathy
